Thiago is a Brazilian self-taught illustrator with 21 years of professional experience. Over the years, he's illustrated and art-directed across publishing, advertising, animation, and games, before returning his focus to children's illustration in 2022.
He has been represented by Shannon Associates since 2023, and has worked on educational books, children magazines and picture books. He’s currently pursuing an Advanced Professional Certificate in Picture Book Creation at A Casa Tombada (SP, Brazil).
In the United States, he illustrated "Attack of the Hangries" (Worthy Kids, 2025), by Katherine Pryor; "Our First Day of Music" (Endeavor, 2024) and "Pippa Goes to the Orchestra" (Endeavor, 2026), both by Bethany Main; and "Rome and the Red Moon" (Independent, 2025) and "Laurie and the Great Vegetable Rebellion" (Independent, 2026), both by Jerry Perez. He also worked as a copy artist for Scholastic, on the Bob Books collection.
In Brazil, he illustrated "Um Dia de Vento" (Globinho, 2024), by Milton Célio de Oliveira Filho and Theo de Oliveira, and "O Porco Framboesa" (Leiturinha, 2025), by Janaina Tokitaka.
As a quiet, introspective kid, he found in drawing a way to express himself and explore his inner world. He loves dogs, baking homemade pizza, discovering new music, and playing cozy video games. He lives in São Joaquim (SC), the coldest city in Brazil, with his wife and two mischievous dogs: Romeo and Pampa.
